SIS-Astana’s Middle School offers a challenging, structured, and well-rounded program built on the SABIS® Educational System. Students develop mastery of essential concepts and core knowledge and skills that prepare them for success in grades 9-12. These academic foundations are nurtured within a supportive and encouraging environment.
The academic coursework is integrated, sequential, and age-appropriate in skills, knowledge, and values. Academic objectives include providing a well-rounded education based on a mastery of English, Kazakh, Russian, math and science, while also strengthening logical reasoning and critical thinking, laying the foundation for lifelong learning.
Students enjoy an interesting and diverse arts and sports program to foster creativity, teamwork and personal growth. Weekly classes in art, music, computing, and P.E. round out the curriculum, offering students a liberal arts education that supports their growth as well-rounded individuals. Student talents are celebrated throughout the year in exhibitions, concerts, and sporting events that showcase their achievements, enthusiasm and commitment.
